A loud, confident linear. It's close to the Dragon Ghost, though to my ear the Dragon Ghost is the louder of the two - the Neon leans a little creamier while still being noisy, which I like; there's none of the discordant edge. I'm running it in my spacebar right now and as a spacebar switch the sound is fantastic. Whe

The classic tactile. I love the natural scratch - both the sound and the feel of it - that comes through here, and the bump is strong. I gave it four rather than five only because I need more time with it; NK Cream is a longtime favorite of mine, so five is very possible later. The 80g bottom-out is genuinely heavy, an

A tactile switch built around a rich, weighty sound. The bump is nicely judged - present but not fatiguing - and the long 13.4mm stem means it really projects, so much so that in a quiet office someone might tell you to keep it down. Downsides: it's a premium switch at over ¥100 each, hard to get hold of, and the leaf

Really quiet, and light. That's the heart of it - a genuinely silent, easy-to-press linear. I'd originally knocked it for an unknown housing material and for only being sold as part of a set, but both of those have since been cleared up; the one lingering nitpick is that you can basically only buy it from the official

A straightforward, pleasant koto-koto linear. The rounded stem tip keeps the volume down a touch and gives an honest, unfussy thock. If that plain sound isn't your thing, look elsewhere - but I personally prefer the Y3 to the Y2. Past Keygeek switches had flat stem tips and a very linear, straight-line sound; this one

Don't let the low profile fool you. The tactile bump here is genuine and really satisfying - sitting right in the middle, neither weak nor overpowering, which for me is just right. Everything else I said about the linear Islet applies: it's a superb little silent switch. As a low-profile silent tactile it punches well

Finally an HMX tactile with no scratch - smooth and consistent the way HMX linears are, with none of the grit. The bump is strong, stronger than the Hydra, so tactile fans have a clear choice: Firecracker for a firmer bump, Hydra for a lighter one. If you're after an HMX tactile as of mid-2026, it really comes down to

The good: it has a capacitive, Topre-like feel and a nicely judged quietness. The downsides: it's a touch heavy for a silent switch, and it's hard to get hold of. It's a silent switch with silicone wrapped around the middle of the stem, like the TTC Peanut Latte. Probably thanks to that structure, you get a capacitive

It edges out the Kailh Deep Sea Silent Linear as the quietest linear switch I've used. There's silicone in the bottom housing and on the stem, and the leaf has been renewed from the old design — probably the same one as the Frozen Silent V2 — so the stem legs contact the leaf smoothly and it stays quiet. The very round

Spring ping varies from unit to unit and can be distracting, but the tactility feels even better than that downside. I've tried the Drop and Glorious Holy Pandas too, but being 5-pin, this is my favorite Panda — I might genuinely love the whole Panda series. Pairs well with clacky or resonant boards. And even on a low

The best magnetic switch I've tried in the PC top / POM stem / Nylon bottom combo. Being able to choose from three weights is a plus, and the vent hole in the bottom housing gives a pleasantly crisp, airy typing sound. At $0.48 a switch it's a bargain, too. I haven't explored HE boards enough yet, so I can't really sp

A quiet switch, so it'll be love-or-hate. Turning it into a broken-in Nixie makes it dramatically better — smoother, and for some reason it still gives a solid sound even under the spacebar. I liked it a lot. Best on a foam-less board. Buy it to enjoy that crisp, sandy character — and consider lube and a spring swap e
