Overview
The Mode Tomorrow is a tactile switch from Mode Designs, manufactured by Outemu as part of the studio's Tomorrow theme. It uses a nylon top and bottom housing with a POM stem, and is offered in a range of stem colors that key it to the theme's matching keycaps and accessories.
Its tactility comes from a rounded, broad bump felt across the downstroke rather than a sharp catch at the top.

A tactile switch built around a rich, weighty sound. The bump is nicely judged - present but not fatiguing - and the long 13.4mm stem means it really projects, so much so that in a quiet office someone might tell you to keep it down. Downsides: it's a premium switch at over ¥100 each, hard to get hold of, and the leaf legs bend easily, so handle with care. But like Obscura it makes a genuinely lovely sound, and that puts it among my personal favorites. Pair it with a board that lets the sound resonate inside the case and it sings.
