The Keygeek Y3 is a linear MX-style switch developed by Keygeek in collaboration with MZ Studio, built on a set of redesigned molds. The reworked stem pole and top and bottom housings were aimed at correcting shortcomings of earlier Keygeek switches. Both housings use fiberglass-free PA66 nylon paired with an M3 stem, and the switch ships factory lubed.

A straightforward, pleasant koto-koto linear. The rounded stem tip keeps the volume down a touch and gives an honest, unfussy thock. If that plain sound isn't your thing, look elsewhere - but I personally prefer the Y3 to the Y2. Past Keygeek switches had flat stem tips and a very linear, straight-line sound; this one has a bit of roundness to it and I like it much better. Best paired with a thocky board. Just know the sound sits on the quieter side.
