Privacy Policy

Keebpedia is a mechanical keyboard database. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse the site, sign in, or contact us. For privacy questions and account requests, contact keebpedia@gmail.com.

Google sign-in

When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your account identifier, email address, name, and profile image information. We use Supabase Auth to store and manage the identity information needed to authenticate you and maintain your session. Keebpedia does not receive your Google password. We request only basic identity access; we do not request access to your Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts, or calendars. Your sign-in information is not displayed publicly by the current account page.

How we use and share information

We use account information to provide sign-in, protect accounts, respond to support requests, and handle deletion requests. Google provides identity verification, Supabase provides authentication and database services, and Vercel hosts the website. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Authorized administrators may access account information for support and security. We do not sell Google account information or use it for advertising or AI model training.

Cookies and technical information

Essential cookies keep you signed in and complete the sign-in process. Clearing them may sign you out. Your browser also stores voting markers to prevent repeat votes. Our infrastructure providers process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for delivery, troubleshooting, and security. Voting abuse protection uses a salted hash of an IP address. When enabled, Google Tag Manager loads site analytics; account information must not be sent to analytics. External videos, retailer links, and affiliate links may connect you to services with their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account is active. To request deletion, email keebpedia@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. We verify your request before taking action. Once confirmed, we suspend account use and allow seven days to cancel the deletion request. After that period, we delete your account information from our active authentication system. Backup copies and security logs may remain until the relevant provider retention periods expire; legal obligations may also require limited retention. Removing Keebpedia access in your Google account stops that connection but does not itself delete the Keebpedia account. You can also contact us to request access to or correction of your information.
