Overview
The XVX Whisper HE/EC is a magnetic switch that works with both Hall Effect and electro-capacitive keyboards, a dual-sensing design its makers describe as the first of its kind. It pairs a rubber dome with a conical spring inside a nylon housing with a POM stem, producing a light tactile, silent keystroke.
It uses a standard MX mount, ships pre-lubed, and includes extra spacebar springs. It is built for keyboards with a bottom-magnet sensor layout.

A genuinely clever switch: a magnetic Hall-effect switch built with an electrostatic-capacitive, Topre-style dome, so you get something close to an HHKB typing sound. At 45g bottom-out it's fairly light and easy to press. It isn't a perfect HHKB clone - the dome here feels thinner than HHKB's firmer dome - and I suspect it's tricky to use for rapid-trigger gaming. But as a first attempt it's superb, and I'm curious to see how the quality climbs from here. It gets closest to an HHKB/Realforce feel on a stiffer board (top- or tray-mount). One caution: with an O-ring mount the edges can pop out, since there are no legs - it just rests on the plate.
