Overview
The TTC Speed Gold V3 is a linear switch from TTC, positioned as a speed-oriented variant for gaming and fast typing with a short travel and quick actuation. It uses a POM stem and ships factory lubed, and TTC pairs it with gold-plated contacts meant to resist corrosion and extend the switch's working life.
Across the manufacturer and retailer listings the keystroke is described as smooth and light, with the switch marketed for competitive play as well as everyday desktop use.

I expected an ordinary-sounding switch, but the stem tip is slightly rounded, giving a mild typing sound I really liked. Wobble is relatively tight, and it feels like a real step up from V2. The long 22mm spring adds cushioning, so it's built for long typing sessions without fatigue. The 1.6mm pre-travel does make you wonder whether it's truly a ‘speed’ switch, but the sound won me over. It's best enjoyed on a clacky board — on a thocky QK I couldn't get much out of the sound. It doesn't pair well with muted, clattery boards, so I'd steer it toward a clacky one.
