Overview
TTC Pro KOM HE is a Hall-effect linear switch intended for compatible magnetic keyboards. It uses magnetic sensing in place of a conventional contact mechanism, giving a supporting keyboard a way to detect movement through the keypress. Its actuation position can be configured through a supporting keyboard, so the complete behavior depends on the board’s electronics and software as well as the switch.

The protrusion on the bottom housing is interesting. It seems to suppress the typing sound, keeping the switch from being too noisy, though I am not certain the protrusion is the reason. The price is on the high side, and the damped sound feels muffled to me, so preferences may vary. I wondered whether designing a quieter switch from the outset would have worked better than suppressing its sound afterward; that contrast was a useful lesson for me. It works with any keyboard, with no particular usage caveats.
