Overview

The NuPhy Lemon is a tactile mechanical keyboard switch made by Gateron in collaboration with NuPhy. It combines a polycarbonate top housing with a PA66 nylon bottom and a POM stem, and ships factory lubricated.

Sources describe a rounded tactile bump rather than a sharp click; the switch is not silenced, so it retains audible sound feedback. Reviewers position it as a moderate-weight tactile intended for general typing, giving clear feedback without heavy resistance.

I feel like the Gateron Quinn is louder — maybe because the Quinn is more long-pole? The weight here is just right, and overall I'd recommend it. Since the Quinn has stronger tactility, I find it more fun on a thocky board. The tactility is weaker than the Quinn's, so it comes down to whether that suits you — it's a normal, standard tactile bump.
