Keygeek x Unikeys Purple Dawn

The Keygeek x Unikeys Purple Dawn is a factory-lubed linear switch, a collaboration between switch maker Keygeek and the vendor Unikeys. It combines a PA66 top housing, a PBT-and-fiberglass bottom housing, and a POM-blend stem, built on updated molds said to reduce stem wobble.

Sources describe a smooth, uninterrupted keystroke with a full, lower-pitched sound: a solid, clean bottom-out and a subtler top-out. The firm bottom housing gives a noticeable clack, so it is not a quiet switch.
