Overview
The Kailh Deep Sea Silent Pro Box Whale is the tactile variant of Kailh's Deep Sea Silent Pro line, an update to the earlier Deep Sea Silent switch. It pairs a transparent blue PC top housing with a dark blue nylon base and a clear PA12 stem, and uses Kailh's BOX sealed contact design.
Factory pre-lubed and built as a silent switch, it aims to hold a defined tactile bump while damping both the downstroke and the return. A clear light-guide pillar routes RGB lighting up through the housing.

On bottom-out there's a faint 'poko' pop — some find it distracting, but others like it as an almost capacitive feel. Either way, it's a very quiet silent switch. It comes in both tactile and linear and has been well-liked for a long time. The internal construction is genuinely unique and worth studying (see the Kailh product page). It's 3-pin, so I'm hoping for a 5-pin release down the line. Works with anything. Just note the 3-pin mount.
