Extremely quiet — seriously silent. The normal-profile Deep Sea is already high-level, but this low-profile version is excellent too. It's listed at 60g, but with the short 2.8mm travel you don't really feel that weight; it settles into a nicely balanced heft.
No real downsides. If I have to name one: the silencing is done with a silicone/rubber ring, so there's a slightly mushy, cushioned feel at the bottom-out.
Among low-profile switches, it's silent by a wide margin. If they found a way to remove that mushy feel, it'd be perfect.
