Overview
The HMX Moksae Silent Tactile is a factory-lubed silent tactile switch, the tactile counterpart to HMX's Moksae Silent Linear. It pairs a polycarbonate top housing with a PA66 bottom housing and a double-shot POM and TPE stem, whose TPE component dampens travel to quiet both the actuation and bottom-out.
Sources describe a defined tactile bump alongside a subdued sound, delivering noticeable feedback without the cushioned, mushy feel common to silent switches. It is aimed at quiet office and everyday typing use.

One of HMX's earliest silent tactile switches, and it shows -- the smoothness HMX is known for is here, but the silencing itself still feels unfinished. It's genuinely smooth and the tactile bump comes through clearly, but this isn't a truly quiet switch; stem wobble is also a bit more noticeable than usual for HMX. That said, some people prefer a silent switch that still lets a little sound through, so it comes down to taste. Recommended if you want a quieter (not silent) tactile -- just don't buy it expecting true silence.
