Overview
The HMX Black Cat is a tactile switch with a modified PA12 top housing, a nylon bottom housing reinforced with fiberglass, and a POM stem. The bump is rounded and D-shaped, with minimal travel before and after it, giving a crisp, well-defined tactile feel.
Factory lubrication and a single-stage spring give it a bright, clacky, resonant sound, with the PA12 top housing keeping the top-out from turning shrill. It is well regarded among tactile enthusiasts for this bump shape and sound.
