Overview
The Geon Yellow is a linear switch from Geonworks' in-house Geon line, produced on a Tecsee base. It pairs an HPE housing with a POM stem blended with PTFE, a combination geared toward smooth, consistent linear travel.
Sold unlubed, it sits alongside the Black linear and Clear tactile options in the Geon range and is generally presented as an accessible, entry-friendly choice for people assembling a custom keyboard.

HPE quiets things down almost too much — impressive! But for me right now it's too quiet to be a favorite. Still, if you want to enjoy a deeeeep typing sound, this one really lands; it feels genuinely one-of-a-kind. It suits both thocky and clacky boards — each brings out its own charm. One thing: 63.5g is surprisingly heavy. Even I, who normally use 62g, feel it's on the heavy side, so some people may find it too heavy.
