Overview
The Geon Lucifer HE is a linear Hall-effect switch designed by GEONWORKS and made by Graingold. Instead of a metal contact leaf, a magnet in the stem and a sensor in the board register position, enabling analog actuation on compatible Hall-effect PCBs; it will not work on standard mechanical boards.
It pairs a polycarbonate top and nylon bottom housing with a POM stem and ships factory-lubricated. It is positioned as an affordable entry into magnetic keyboards and uses the common Gateron KS-20 footprint.

Like Everglide HE, it has that magnetic-switch sound, so opinions will vary. The spring in particular stood out -- in a way that read as a bit cheap. I didn't love how thin the spring felt when typing. $0.25 a switch is nice, though. I haven't explored magnetic-switch keyboards enough yet to say what it pairs well with. This felt like a switch where the price shows in the quality.
