Overview

The Gateron New North Pole 2.0 is a linear switch housed in fully transparent polycarbonate, top and bottom, with a stem cut from Gateron's INK material. The clear body lets RGB backlighting shine through brightly and evenly, and each switch arrives factory lubed on a gold-plated spring.

As a revision of the original North Pole, the 2.0 vents exhaust holes at the base of the stem that smooth the stroke and take some edge off the bottom-out, and its contact pins were reinforced for steadier hot-swap use.
