My first HE tactile switch. Until now HE switches were all linear and sounded nearly identical, so a tactile felt truly one-of-a-kind — I loved it. I'd have given it a 5, but at $0.85 each I had to dock one; around $0.50 it'd be a 5 for sure. I reviewed it alongside the Spark — the Spark's sound is purer, and the Emerald does mix in a slightly 'impure' note. Even so, the sheer fun of a tactile made that a non-issue. Works with any board. Probably not one for gaming, but for anything else it's perfectly usable.
