The Gateron Cream Soda is a linear switch developed by Gateron with the designer Punkshoo, having grown out of an earlier hand-built "Cthulhu" frankenswitch into a factory-made product. It combines a milky top housing with an Ink bottom housing and a POM stem.
The stem is long-pole, which gives a shorter, firmer bottom-out, and the switch is generally described as a smooth linear. Its name and styling draw on a retro soda-fountain theme.

Incredibly smooth. Maybe it's the long stem, but the sound comes out on the louder side — and when it clicks with the right board, the typing sound turns into the kind that melts your brain.
For that melt-your-brain sound, a QK60-style build worked best for me: PC top, aluminum bottom, gasket mount. That said, I'm running them on a foam-less TGR right now and still loving it, so they work on foam-less boards too.
One caveat — at over ¥100 per switch, these aren't a cheap option.
