Overview
The Epomaker Sea Salt V2 is a silent linear switch from Epomaker, part of the brand's Sea Salt line. It pairs a polycarbonate top housing with a nylon bottom housing and a POM stem, and ships factory-lubed for a smoother keystroke.
As a linear switch it moves through its travel without a tactile bump or click. Rather than relying on added dampening pads, its quieting comes from the stem structure and factory lubrication, giving a muted keystroke aimed at low-noise environments.

This is what a textbook silent switch feels like. Its stem shape is distinctive, similar to Roseveil, and interestingly it seems to be silenced without any silicone at all. Unlike Roseveil, there's no hopping sensation -- which might be a relief depending on your taste. Factory lube is generally fine, though some units may have a bit of leaf scratchiness that could use extra lube. Being a box-stem design, keycap wobble is nicely minimal. I'm giving it 3 stars mainly because it doesn't have a standout character -- but if you just want a safe, dependable silent linear, this is a solid option.
