Overview
The Durock Ice King Linear is a transparent linear switch from Durock (manufactured by JWK), built with nylon polymer top and bottom housings and a modified, long-pole nylon stem. The clear housing allows RGB shine-through, and nylon gives it a deeper, more subdued sound than the polycarbonate common to see-through switches.
Reviewers describe it as smooth and factory-lubed out of the box, with a rounded, thocky sound. It is also sold in a tactile version.

A rare switch made entirely of nylon, and on top of that it uses a progressive spring that gradually gets heavier — a fun switch. Despite the long stem, you get a fairly quiet, thocky sound. It leans muted and clattery, so I'd recommend a board that brings that out, like the QK65. Clacky boards work too, but then it just becomes a quiet switch — worth keeping in mind.
