Overview

The Drop + Invyr Holy Panda is a tactile switch that grew out of a community "frankenswitch," pairing the housing of Invyr's Panda linear with the stem of a Halo tactile switch. Drop turned that build into a factory-produced version, making a once hard-to-source design widely available.

With a polycarbonate top and nylon bottom housing, it is known for a rounded, pronounced tactile bump and a clacky, resonant sound. It is not a silent switch, and its acoustics are among the traits enthusiasts most associate with it.

A strong, well-defined bump — a switch that lets you enjoy 'the' tactile experience. The long-pole stem gives it a clear, pronounced sound too. Lubing makes it smoother, but leaving it unlubed on purpose to enjoy the ping and a bit of scratch is also a great option. Pairs well with clacky boards. Watch out: over-lubing weakens the bump.
