Overview
The Cherry MX2A Petal is a light tactile switch built on Cherry's MX2A platform, a reworked take on the classic MX design with retooled housings, springs, and stem rails meant to improve smoothness and consistency out of the box. It ships factory lubricated.
Reviewers describe its tactile bump as gentle and rounded rather than sharp, giving a soft but defined press, paired with a warm, muted sound. It is offered in pink floral colourways as a lighter, smoother take on a tactile switch.

Reviews
Cherry’s light tactile. You get a faint tactile bump and the classic Cherry scratch. If you like Brown you may find it underwhelming (I did), and it’s light enough that heavy-switch users will feel it’s too light. It feels designed more for people new to Cherry than for long-time Cherry fans. Plus: subtle bump, that Cherry scratch, lightweight. Minus: the scratch is love-it-or-hate-it.
