It's lubed more thoroughly than the Hyperglide, and the wobble is tighter, so it holds up fine without a film. Spring ping can show up depending on the batch and the individual unit — if that happens, swapping the spring is worth doing.
Personally I rank them Vintage Brown > MX2A Brown > Hyperglide Brown, so this one is actually a favorite of mine.
