Overview

The Cherry MX Clear is a tactile switch from the German manufacturer Cherry, part of its long-running MX line. It delivers a distinct tactile bump on each keypress without any accompanying click, and is noticeably firmer and heavier than the lighter MX Brown. Its top and bottom housings are made of nylon, and it uses Cherry's gold crosspoint contact mechanism. The pronounced feedback helps resist accidental presses, making it a longtime favourite among typing enthusiasts.
