The Cherry MX Black Hyperglide is a linear switch from Cherry's MX1A generation, built with nylon top and bottom housings. It uses Cherry's Hyperglide tooling, which tightens tolerances over the original MX Black for a smoother stroke and a longer rated service life.

Stock, it's honestly not usable without a spring swap and stem lube — but it's very rewarding to mod, and you should buy it to enjoy that crisp, sandy feel.
Broken in, the sound is the best. Wearing it in concentrates the bottom-out energy into a sharp "pashi", and the wear removes burrs and contact noise for a more refined high pitch — it even gets louder than a normal Hyperglide. It does cost over ¥100 a switch, but it's worth it.
Best on a foam-less clacky board; thocky works but feels like a waste of a broken-in set. A spring swap and stem lube are must-dos, and a film (I use SWK 0.3mm) cuts the rattle.
