Overview
The Tropical Waters V3 is a linear switch designed by Keebhut and built by BSUN — the third revision of a switch originally made by Aflion, with the factory changed to resolve quality-control issues while preserving the original design. It uses a POM stem in a polycarbonate top and nylon bottom housing and ships factory-lubricated.
Its long-pole stem gives a full bottom-out and a deep, smooth sound that sellers and users consistently describe as thick and low-pitched.

An interesting switch with curved stem legs — perhaps thanks to that, the stroke is very smooth. Despite an ordinary PC/POM/Nylon combo, it delivers a weighty, substantial typing sound. It pairs well with a clacky board. No particular caveats.
