Overview
The Melody Redux is a light tactile switch manufactured by BSUN, a Foot in Mouth Designs and PuNkShoO collaboration that reworks the earlier Melody switch around a new factory's tooling. Its top housing, stem, and bottom housing are all POM, a choice the makers credit for a full yet muted sound with a slightly brighter pitch.
In use it reads as largely smooth through the downstroke, with the tactile bump coming through on the return rather than as a sharp catch at the top. It ships factory lubricated.

A fully POM BSUN switch — my first all-POM from BSUN. It has some scratch/rasp, though not as much as Kailh's, but it types with a pleasantly tactile feel, so I personally like it. It pairs well with a clacky board. Two caveats: it's hard to get hold of, and that scratch/rasp will come down to personal taste.
