Overview
The Akko Stellar Rose is a linear switch developed in partnership with switch maker HMX, and is marketed as Akko's first "deep clack" design. It arrives factory-lubed and is meant to feel smooth from the box, without a break-in period.
Its defining trait is acoustic: sellers and reviewers alike describe a deep, clacky sound profile that sets it apart from more muted linears, while the keystroke itself stays even and consistent through the travel.

The 'T5' stem material is a bit of a mystery, but Akko's own hardness scale lists it as the softest of their stem compounds, so it's clearly a soft material. Manufactured by HMX, so wobble is tight. Lube felt fine, but there's a very faint raspiness, possibly from the material combination. Interestingly, it's quiet standalone but changes character depending on the keyboard -- heavier and richer on a Brutal, simply clacky on a QK65. There's fun in matching it to different boards, but it's not distinctive enough on its own to be a must-have, unfortunately.
