Hello? Caps has announced Gelatinous Rouge, a $110 USD artisan keycap raffle built around its Bongo Cat character. The official form lists an entry window of approximately 24 hours, MX compatibility and a shipping lead time of up to four weeks.

The official photograph gives the cat a translucent red body with pale, skull-like details. Matching miniature skulls and bones surround the caps in the image. That contrast between a cute cat silhouette and something a little macabre connects this release to a recurring part of Hello? Caps’ work.

Raffle details

The Bongo-or-Schrodinger option is an entry preference, not a two-cap bundle. The form lists the same $110 price for both choices and does not promise that entrants can select the exact sculpt after winning.

Winners are notified through PayPal. Hello? Caps asks for prompt invoice payment and says multiple entries result in a permanent ban. The form also notes that handmade caps may vary slightly from one another.

What is Hello? Caps?

Hello? Caps is an artisan keycap maker associated with Bongo Cat and its skeletal counterpart, Schrodinger. Artisan Collector’s historical profile traces the maker’s earlier work to EGGcaps, made while in college, before Bongo Cat appeared in late 2018. Schrodinger followed in 2019, with an exposed half-skull design.

The maker’s own older raffle posts, published as u/Eggplanthero, show how the cat became a continuing creative project. A July 2020 sale, for example, offered Bongo Cat v2 in a Banana colorway. Rather than replacing the character each time, these releases give a familiar sculpt a different visual identity.

Where Gelatinous Rouge fits in

For readers new to artisans, the sculpt is the underlying shape or character; a colorway is a particular color treatment. Bongo Cat is the recurring character here, while Gelatinous Rouge names this release’s treatment. Schrodinger provides the related skeletal variation offered through the same form.

The archive linked from Hello? Caps’ official shop records earlier Bongo Cat v2 entries called Gelatinous Cube and Gelatinous Blue’b. That gives Rouge some context: the gelatinous idea already has a place in the maker’s catalog, and this release explores it in red.

The appeal is in the combination of recognizable character design, translucency and the skull motif visible in the official image. The limited Schrodinger notation does not establish the size of the entire run or imply any future resale value.

What is confirmed about the timing?

The Discord announcement was posted on October 24, 2026 at 10:50 JST, and says the week’s sale is live. The form states an approximately 24-hour window but supplies no absolute opening or closing time or timezone. An announcement timestamp alone does not establish an exact deadline.

These terms were checked on October 25. Readers should use the official form to check current availability; this article does not assume that entries remain open at the time of reading.
