Overview

Keyfirst Cream is a linear switch produced by Gateron as an MX-style clone. It takes its name from a cream-toned tri-colour housing, pairing a green lower housing and a pink upper housing with a yellow stem. Multiple sellers describe the stem as self-lubricating, giving a smooth keystroke with no tactile bump or click.

The switch is RGB/SMD-friendly and ships in a five-pin, PCB-mount form whose extra pins can be clipped for plate-mount boards, while its MX-compatible stem accepts standard keycaps.

A switch with a lot of unanswered questions. If you lube it yourself, the stroke ends up surprisingly smooth. But the pins bend easily -- maybe because of cheap materials?
